Red Riding Hood - Instant Download PDF
My fascination with wolves dates back to childhood, probably from "Little Red Riding Hood." It's hard to believe these magnificent animals are the sole ancestors of my little lap dogs! Virtually exterminated by hunting, gray wolves were re-introduced to Yellowstone in the late 90s. The National Park is now home to nearly 100 gray wolves.
The Brothers Grimm version of the story has Little Red and her grandma saved from the wolf by a huntsman, who was after the wolf's pelt. I used a more eco-friendly "fur" for this shapely hood, which sits lower in front of the shoulders and closer to the nape than most. It frames your lovely face and is extremely soft against your skin.! This pattern includes my recipe for Sourdough Blueberry Pancakes.
This pattern is also available in the instant download ebook, American Gift Knitting.
