Prizes and Giveaways

Each month we offer our members a chance to vote on their favorite books, patterns, etc in our newsletter. All participants are entered into a random drawing for a knitting or crochet prize pack (retail value $50-$100). We also offer smaller weekly prizes from our Facebook fan page every Monday. Please contact us if you'd like to contribute a sample of your products or patterns.

Party Line Event Sponsorships

The Planet Purl Party Line is a series of webcast events on Planet Purl where we feature top designers and authors for interactive interviews with our members. We also host free online classes and monthly knitting groups. Event sponsorships include banner ads in our weekly email updates, verbal mentions during the live event and inclusion in the event archive materials. Please call for pricing.

Sponsor "Where to Buy" Links

For online retailers, sponsorships are available for items within the shopping lists within the pattern search for yarns and various knitting and crochet supplies. For items sponsored, your text URL link will be available when a reader wants more information about a specific product in the shopping list. Please contact us for pricing.

Post Your Patterns - Free!

All "designer members" in the Planet Purl community can post free or for sale patterns in our pattern search. There is no cost to be a "designer" member, but we do require a quick approval before you can start posting information about your patterns. Learn more and apply for a designer level access.

Designer Webcast Interviews - Free!

We invite designers, authors and publishers to be guest speakers in Planet Purl Party Line webcast events -- where you can connect online with your fans by phone, webcam and/or text chat. These hosted events are in interview format with our resident "PurlQueen" and participants on the line can ask their questions. Recordings of the audio and video are archived and shared on the site for those unable to attend the live session. Please contact us with your event ideas.

Yarn Shop Directory Listings - Free!

Every yarn or knitting/crochet supply store can have a free basic listing in our shop search. If you have a new shop or an edit to an existing one, please submit a Yarn Shop Update.

Submit Your Products for Review - Free!

Get your books or products reviewed by a Planet Purl staff member for inclusion in our site and/or newsletter. You may provide supporting product highlights, but we reserve the right to edit the material as we believe best represents our experiences.
