Can a girl have too many handbags?

Whether you call them handbags, purses, satchels, bags, or totes, we can all agree that a girl can never have too many! We love felted bags for lots of reasons -- they make great gifts because size doesn't matter, felting hides a multitude of little knitting sins, and bags we make for ourselves still fit no matter how much weight we gain or lose. It doesn't get better than that! Designer Nora Bellows of Noni Designs keeps the new designs coming with lots of pretty, feminine, and frequently floral-enhanced designs suitable for all knitting levels. We know how hard it is to pick a favorite, but give it a shot to be entered in a drawing for a kit for Noni's Three Nights in a Row Bag, including yarn, hardware, a Noni Designs tag, and an autographed pattern.

The groundhog has spoken...6 more weeks of winter!

A few days ago the loveable and mysterious Punxsutawney Phil came out of his burrow on Gobbler's Knob to see his shadow and declare we'll have 6 more weeks of winter weather. And considering many of us are wearing our boots and shoveling snow the last couple weeks, this comes as no surprise. The good news is that we can get another cozy wintery project on and off our needles before the end of the season, and they'll be ready for us to enjoy next year. Check out these patterns now available for download from our pattern search. Looking for more ideas, start your pattern search here.
